kgcc and kernel compile

Anyone else finding it impossible to compile the 2.2.16 Linux kernel even
with kgcc? As mentioned in bugzilla, I changed the compiler to use kgcc
instead of gcc, but 'make zImage' still bombs out.

Any suggestions?
