Actually, you can tunnel VNC over SSH the same way you would X-windows.  You
can even use ssh clients on Winblows!!!

I've set up VNC between Winblows and Linux using teratermpro on Win, openssh
on Linux, and VNC. Check out VNC's home page for more.
