Edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config file or re-run the Xwindows setup
(a couple different ones... xf86setup or Xconfigurator are the two
that spring to mind...maybe more) and select the resolution you want.
Keep in mind that if you select multiple resolutions, unlike MS
Windoze, you won't necessarily have "full screen" at all
resolutions...some may be oversized, so it's better to select ONE
screen size that you'll be happy with.
If you've selected multiple screen sizes, you'll have to use
CTRL+ALT+KEYPAD-plus and KEYPAD-MINUS in order to switch between the
various resolutions...
