I haven't used partition magic in a long time...but I know it will let you shrink your 
windows partition -- I don't think it will let you grow your linux partition.

However, you can shrink your windows partition, create a new linux partition in the 
reclaimed space, and then move some of your files over to the new partition.  

For instance, if you can carve out enough new space for linux, you maybe able to move 
/home over to the new partition.
