I thought so too, but I was amazed to see this stamped on the CPU after
clearing away the glue from the heat sink:

AMD 40486-DX4-120 SV8B

Isn't that the identifier for an AMD 486DX4 120MHz chip?  I was pretty
shocked when I saw it, but in a good way. :)
