can not ftp out from new 6.2 computer

Hi

Quick question I hope.
We just built a new 6.2 machine and added it to our network.
I can ftp to or from it to any machine on our net. (172....)
All other machines can get out to another address (204....)
The new machine says network is unreachable.

Could anyone tell me what we failed to do please?
