Yes I believe you. The point that I intended was simply that I have been using
the Napster client v2.0 Beta 7 on my Windoze box for several months. It still
works but the gnome gnapster client broke sometime last week (or at least I noticed
it then). I believe Napster changed something which remained compatible with
their official Windoze client but not the gnome gnapster client. I find that
to be a real bummer ... I have been trying to get my wife to agree to a wholesale
change to Linux on the 3 PCs I have at home, but things like this make it a
tough sell.
