You don't know unless you ask. Many a time I have had the same request in my ISP days and I did not mind re-caching a zone so it could be seen more quickly for a paying customer. Depends on what mood you catch them in and if it is after hours or not. Most likely there is only one person assigned or has privileges to do this and he/she may be gone for today at least. If so and the zone is loaded just do a /etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart or reload.
