uninterruptible sleep process

Hi,

Does anybody know how to stop a process with flag "D"?

While I was trying to copy all files from /mnt/cdrom to some where, the
process "cp" went into the strange status and I couldn't use cdrom
anymore. Can anyone give me an idea except rebooting?
