Odd, I have a range of 1542's (Standard 1542, 1542B, 1542C, 1542CP
and 1542CF) and they've all worked since RH5.2. Never had any problems
with them, and most of the machines run 6.2 now, a few 7.0. (one of
them still runs 5.1, and the card works fine)
