site, and then resuming it from another?

There shouldn't be. If you are downloading the
same files, and your FTP client, as well as the
server both support the REST(art) command, you
will be good to go. A quick and easy way to make
sure you have the sames files is to check the
byte sizes and make sure they are the same.
