Since I've been bothering this list for so long about my cardbus
woes.. I thought i'd give you a success story.. well sort of.. since I had
my wireless card vaguely working w/ my old kernel I ended up backing up
everything conceivably useful (i.e. my home directory, my XF86, some
license files etc etc..) and reinstalling 7.1 from scratch. Now
everything including the standard kernel subsystem works flawlessly. Btw
my PCIC in /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia is actually set to yenta_socket as per
the instructions in pcmcia-cs now which is odd since i believe Chuck has
it set to the old values.. I am not sure why the upgrade didn't work or
what was lying around but am vaguely happy that it all works now :)
