The 2.2 kernel was the basis for this book and it is out of date in many
areas. Nevertheless, if someone wants to become familiar with the kernel,
it's definitely worth to buy it.
If there is any better book available that is more up-to-date and more
comprehensive, let me know. So far, I only know "Linux Internals" from
Moshe Bar which covers 2.4 but it doesn't contain as much information as
the O'Reilly book. I'm getting gaining more knowledge from the O'Reilly
book. I think, buying these 2 books is a good combination.
