Hi,
I have installed RedHat 7.2 and have updated /etc/xinetd.d/tftp file. The
file looks like this:
# default: off
# description: The tftp server serves files using the trivial file transfer
\
# protocol. The tftp protocol is often used to boot diskless \
# workstations, download configuration files to network-aware
printers, \
# and to start the installation process for some operating systems.
service tftp
{
socket_type = dgram
protocol = udp
wait = yes
user = root
port = 69
server = /usr/sbin/in.tftpd
server_args = -s /tftpboot
disable = no
}
What I observe is that tftp server works locally but when I try to use it
remotely, it fails.
This is the error message that I get when I run "xinetd -d"

Has anyone encountered this problem with RedHat 7.2? With RedHat 6.2 , I got
my TFTP server working.
Please let me know what is the workaround to get past this problem.
Thanks,
Ranjeeta
