Need some help with a scsi tape drive. Installed a Seagate Python on a Redhat 7.1 server.  The tape drive was pulled over from an older 6.2 server.  The system seems to see it fine and the tape is shown in the /proc/scsi/0 file.  At first the tape was just hanging when I tried to rewind in or back up to it.  It was giving me the error “device is busy” and in a reboot of the server the /tmp would fail to dismount.

 If I do a more on the /dev/st0 I get st0: Error 26030000 (sugg, bt 0x20, driver bt 0x6, host bt 0x3).

Has anybody seen this before.  I would really appreciate any help on this.

Thanks,
