I have used a widely available perl script named DNS Walk in the past that 
will sanity check zone files while there are available web based tools that 
do similar things.

There's a zone check device located - http://aun.uninett.no:8083/dns/zc.html

RIPE have a simple checker hidden away on their Web site - 
http://www.ripe.net/cgi-bin/nph-dc.cgi

...and finally Demon in the UK have a very friendly Web based tool - 
http://www.demon.net/external/

While always remember that the dig command is your friend 8-) [man dig]
