Is there a filesize limit with samba 2.0.10?
I know that the 2G limit was removed from 2.4 kernels. I'm trying to figure out why making a tape backup of a large tar.gz package from a smbmounted win2k share fails (the process just freezes and I can't access the smbmounted share anymore). I'd also like to know why tar complains "file changed as we read it" when making a backup to tape from smbmounted shares when I know for sure that nobody has touched the files? It must be Samba related issue also as it never happens with local files.
