I'd like to connect a Nokia PCMCIA datacard (gsm modem) to my server, which, being a 2U unit, does not have a PCMCIA slot. I've found a SparkLan PCMCIA-PCI adapter but before purchasing it (or similar) would like to check :
a) Does anybody have any experience/recommendations regarding a PCMCIA-PCI adapter supported by RedHat ? eg. I'm pretty sure the SparkLan won't have a driver since the manufacturer isn't even listed in the HCL (hardware compatibility list) b) Most of the PCMCIA-PCI adapters seem originally designed for Wireless LAN cards. Am I right in assuming that that the adapter doesn't actually care what type of PCMCIA card is inserted ? Thank you very much, chas _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
