i am trying to install an app and it generates the following: /usr/include/linux/modversions.h:1:2: #error Modules should never use kernel-headers system headers, /usr/include/linux/modversions.h:2:2: #error but rather headers from an appropriate kernel-source package. /usr/include/linux/modversions.h:3:2: #error Change -I/usr/src/linux/include (or similar) to /usr/include/linux/modversions.h:4:2: #error -I/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build/include /usr/include/linux/modversions.h:5:2: #error to build against the currently-running kernel.
it also generates: linuxcniapi.c:29:21: net/dst.h: No such file or directory the second message seems to say that the source isn't installed, but i installed the src rpm for the kernel i am running. my questions, how can i verify that the source is installed? what does that first message mean? i am on rh7.1 [root@groo vpnclient]# uname -a Linux groo.xxx.xxx 2.4.9-12 #1 Tue Oct 30 18:33:49 EST 2001 i686 unknown _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
