message I got on that machine when trying to mount at /dev/hdd4."

Tried that one thanks Dave, but no luck :-(

Typed in:

mount /dev/hdd /mnt/zip100.0

Get the errors:

/dev/hdd: Input/output error
mount: you must specify the file system type

Inserting -t vfat in the correct place gives the incorrect file system error
again.
