Hello James, Ok I got it now....I forgot to tell the firewall that it must accept any "opened" connections from your box.
This is done as follow: ipchains -A input -i $EXT ! -s $EXTIP -j ACCEPT P.S. note the ! try this and let me know...btw where are you since we seem to be on the same time line ?!?
