Linuxconf has been depreciated since Red Hat Linux 7.1, I believe. It is still included on the install disks, but is not installed by default on a new install. My configuration tool of choice is my handy text editor, combined with the documentation for whatever I am attempting to configure. Seems to cause less trouble than anything else, and I know that I get the configuration I intended. You might have a look at webmin: http://www.webmin.com/webmin/ I don't use it, but most of the comments I've heard have been fairly positive. - -D - -- pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/pgpkey.txt - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8QMjVeMAUbzJhSVcRAspEAJ4yI3H8d2NjeljuYgeRnGWCEOCXEACeJBlN H7zktyfvncFCqho4oPYz3EI= =Hlqn -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
