I work as a parent volunteer at my kid's school and we're in need of some way to
block access to explicit (read: porn) websites to prevent the kids from visiting them.
 My questions are:

    a) is there something that can accomplish this?
    b) if so, what is it, and/or is there a free / opensource program that I can
install and start filtering what these kids see?

We got caught off guard when a 4th grade teacher told the kids to go research our
president, and the first URL they typed in was www.whitehouse.com...
