just installed/upgraded to the latest RedHat package of postfix, noted above.

The first problem, of course, was that it required all of the directories
in /var/spool/postfix that were previously owned by mail to have to be owned
by the user postfix. Ok...I figured that out, and got it going.

Now, however, whenever I send a message, on the local system, using Pine,
I get the following message:

"[Mail not sent. Sending error: 451 Error: queue file write error]

Of course, it's not true...the message does get sent.

What doesn't seem to be happening (now that I've done a little more digging)
is that it's not saving those sent messages in my $HOME/mail/sent-mail file.

I'm guessing, then, that this is the queue file it is referring to.

Any ideas what ownership/permission I should be setting on this file, or which
file it is referring to, if I'm incorrect?

Thanks.
