Hello all, I'm using RH 7.2 with KDE. I've a problem to access via Exceed 6.0 (Windows 95) to X on the RH 7.2-Box.
I have made following configuration: /etc/inittab: x:5: respawn:/etc/X11/predfm -nodaemon /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess: * CHOOSER BROADCAST %hostlist 164.27.222.243 /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config: !DisplayManager.requestPort: 0 /etc/hosts.allow: All: All After setting up this, and taken the IP-adress of my server in the xdmcp.txt - file, my RH-server doesn't appear in the XDMCP Display Manager Chooser-Window. Does anyone have an idea or experience, what seem wrong here ?? With another RH 7.0-Box, using Gnome, I didn't have these problems !!
