How about trying to access a site by its IP? Here are some you could try (I'll list a few in case one happens to be down when you try :) : www.linux.org -- 198.182.196.56 sourceforge.net -- 216.136.171.196 wblogan.net -- 66.197.132.61 If you can reach the sites by using the IP numbers, then your problem is DNS, otherwise it is something else.
