GIMP opens the shot in a window, ready for manipulation or saving into any of several formats. Since I mostly need to save the shot as PNG or JPEG, using GIMP saves me some conversion steps. I also get instant feedback as to whether I got the shot right. If not, I close the window and try again. Tony - -- Anthony E.
