Hi, I've been getting the same or similar message: "There was a package dependency problem. The message was: A package providing librpmio.so.0 could not be found. A package providing librpm.so.0 could not be found."
I was running [root@Server /root]# up2date -u --nox --nosig on an old 486 DX boosted to 100 with RH 7.1 installed using 32 Megs of memory. Runs very slow but runs. I had just updated it the same way a few days ago and everything seemed to be working well.
