Create a perl script called pingsweep.pl for( $i=1; $i<255; $i++ ) { print "125.125.125.$i: "; print `ping -c 1 125.125.125.$i`; print "\n";
Then at the command prompt, have it write to a file like this perl pingsweep.pl > pingsweep.txt Looks like it will do what you want it to. But then again, they said that about Windows.
