I purchased a Western Digital 60GB IDE drive only to find that cfdisk cannot read the partition table (the kernel seems to recognize it when booting). Is a 60GB drive supported in 6.1? I found the Large-Disk-HOWTO but was wondering if there is an easier solution. I have a standard kernel that I'd like to apply a patch to and not upgrade right now. I'd like to avoid building a kernel. Suggestions?
