Sendmail delays checks when you AUTH. As I recall, once AUTH was up and running all of my other problems went away, including the unresolvable IP thing. Every single one of my users is in another country from the server (10 countries total) so I do get unresolvable DNS stuff frequently. Now, however, most of it *is* spam and AUTH stuff gets through. But yes, you really do want to ensure your DNS works well anyway. Too important to too many things. -- Rodolfo J.
