I have the same problem, I've looked at the messages file but it never looks
for ttt-ldis-3.

here is what I get:

Apr 8 20:42:37 marylin pppd[7366]: IPCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
Apr 8 20:42:38 marylin ppp(pam_unix)[7366]: session closed for user user02
Apr 8 20:42:38 marylin pppd[7366]: Connection terminated.
Apr 8 20:42:38 marylin pppd[7366]: Connect time 0.7 minutes.
Apr 8 20:42:38 marylin pppd[7366]: Sent 310 bytes, received 0 bytes.
Apr 8 20:42:38 marylin pppd[7366]: Exit.

I 've re checked the config files but I still can't find the reason, this
configuration worked well on RH 6.2. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!!!
