hi, this is happening with all applications, but bothers me the most with Kmail, which runs 24\7 here and used as one of my primary every-day work tools.
i use RH73, kde 3.0.0-10, Xfree 4.2.0-8 configured with Xinerama. hardware : 1) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV11 [GeForce2 MX] (rev b2) 2) 02:04.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage II+ 215GTB [Mach64 GTB] (rev 9a) when ever i open a new windows (ctrl+n) the window will open on a different monitor and on a different location on the screen every time. is there a way to define exactly where a window will pop-up ? let's say i want a new window to open on the primary monitor, upper left corner (just for example) can anyone point me to the right place to start looking for an answer ?
