Good afternoon, Network address translation[NAT] seems to have stopped functioning on my RH-7.2 firewall box.. I have Bastille-Firewall installed. I has been functioning for months without problems but now the hosts on my lan cannot see the firewall box [cannot ping it] or see past the firewall. The firewall box can dial out to the ner ok but cannot ping the hosts on the lan.
Is it possible the nic on the firewall box ahas gone bad? The routing tables all appear normal. And /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward is set to '1'. I'm not sure what else to check.
