I have a server that is using two Adaptec SCSI controllers. The first one seen during POST is an Adaptec 39160 (LVD) that has an internal QIC tape drive on it. This one is used to backup the OS for disaster recovery.
The second one seen during POST is an Adaptec 2944UW (HVD) that has an external DLT autoloader on it. This one is used to backup over 200GB of user data. They are both controlled by the driver 'aic7xxx'.
