hopping your modems are configured & working, you need to edit the file
/etc/options.ttyS0, /etc/options.ttyS1 etc (depending on the com port) &
make this entry

192.168.1.1:192.168.1.100

where 192.168.1.1 is the ip of your server & the other the ip of the
remote dialup.
