Heck I don't know...I've never had a problem with SAMBA, but a coworker was saying that it would be faster if you ran SMB directly over ip without NetBIOS in the middle. From what I understand this is a feature Microsoft implemented starting with windows 2000. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q204279 I was just wondering if SAMBA supported this feature or if it is in the works for future releases.
