Go into Mozilla's Preferences->Navigator->Helper Applications, click on
"New Type" and add the following:

Description: MS Word documents
File extension: doc
MIME-type: application/msword
Application to use: <insert star office here>

Thanks. I tried it and it still prompts me to save the file. what else could be wrong ??
