Hi guys. I just installed RH 7.2 on a machine. I has a 3c509 Nic installed. But it doesn't get up and running upon booting unless I do 'modprobe 3c509'.
'ONBOOT=yes' is in '/etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-eth0' I put 'alias eth0 3c509' in '/etc/modules.conf' Can anyone tell me what my problem is? What did I miss?
