Jon's last sentence isn't quite true.  You can use dd to copy partitions 
from any size disk to another, as long as the target drive is at least the 
same size as the source.  You can then either use fdisk to create more 
partitions, or use something like fips to increase/decrease the sizes of 
the existing partition(s).
