Folks,

I'm using Redhat 7.3. I am required by my security regulations to set
things like Max Password Age, Min Password Age, and Password Warn Age for
my users. I would like to do this globally as default settings for new
users. If I set these characteristics in /etc/login.defs, they do take
effect for new users added with the adduser command, but do not take effect
for users added with Redhat's user management gui (redhat-config-users).
I'm wondering if there's a reason this file is ignored by
redhat-config-users, or if there is any other file that that command looks
to to set it's defaults.

Thanks,

Caroline
