Dan, The company I work for uses cPanel (http://www.cpanel.net) for virtual hosting, it also takes care of the traffic monitoring and billing too. In addition to cPanel, we use WHNBill (http://www.webhostingbilling.com) for automated account signups and billing, etc. Feel free to e-mail me off-list if you have any more questions.
