Well, things had been running fine with my newly installed Redhat 7.2 system the last few days. But now if I try to boot the system there is a "BOOT FAILURE, Insert Boot Media and Press Any Key".
The system includes Windows 2000 in the first partition (partitioned by Partition Magic) and Redhat 7.2 in the second partition. Things had been working fine, and usually I get a graphic display when I startup where I can choose between Linux (default) or Windows 2000. But now I can't get anything. I booted up from the Redhat install CD-ROM and tried "linux rescue" mode, but it only gets as far as telling me it cannot find a Linux partition. Then I am put into a shell. Anything I can do? Is all lost? Is this a common problem with a partitioned Windows/Linux hard disk? doug _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
