Hi, I would use ext3, it is the x years old ext2 filesystem with the journaling feature. It's very stable and compatible to ext2, so if you have any crash it's easier to fix. ReiserFS is faster but not stable enough to use it at important functions. But if you want setup a Proxy i would recommed it.
