Can someone point me in the right direction? If these boxes talk IPSec, then have a look at FreeSWAN. If they talk anything else then I can't help. > This VPN server should also be able to accept connections from dial-up > users running Windows OSes. You can configure your RH box to handle dial-in users, using a mixture of mgetty and pppd. It's a long time since I did this and it's probably changed a lot since then so my best suggestion would be to look up the HOWTO. These days my users use their own ISP connections and VPN into me. Historically, Windows boxes talk PPTP although I believe the later ones may have IPSec now too. You can configure your RH box to support PPTP, and by configuring your kernel, I believe it will also support encryption. This is not something I've ever done. WARNING: PPTP is a horiffically weak protocol and can be relatively easily compromised making it an easy target for people wanting to compromise your network. > > Rgds -- Gary Stainburn This email does not contain private or confidential material as it may be snooped on by interested government parties for unknown and undisclosed purposes - Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act, 2000 -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
