Hi all,

 

I use external FW hdd in my program. When I plug it into the system, it is auto detected and appears as a scsi disk. So far good. Now the problem is the mapped scsi depends on the already present scsi disks on the system and could be sda sdb sdc etc. How can I find out from my program wheather any firewire HDDs are connected and whatz their number (sd?).
