Did you zip it in Windows? That might be the problem! What zip program are
you using? That could also be the problem.

I have never seen such behaviour with zip on any unix/unix-like os. I have
just tried this on RedHat 7.3 and had no problems with the file names...

Example my zip file called my.zip has a file inside called yipeeBB.txt. When
I unzip my.zip i get a file called yipeebb.txt.  I lose the uppercase "BB"
