Hi I've installed Red Hat several times, both versions 7.3 and 8.0 and whenever I install with the default bootloader config (grub, MBR) it hangs on the line starting "apm: " at boot.
This doesn't seem to be an issue if I use lilo My system is a P4 1.7gig, Intel 845 chipset board, SBLive, Gainward GeForce 4 MX, linux on hdb, Windows XP on hda If I choose Windows from the Grub menu, it boots fine. Anybody experienced similar problems, or do I have to reinstall with Lilo? Any help much appreciated, thanks.
