Thanks Bret. What I did doesent help.But I have 2 kernel versions installed, and the one (2.4.7-10) that comes with my redhat 7.2, and which I've not edit the source code, your link resolve it. But the other kernel I have (2.4.18) doesent work with this description. And I have set CONFIG_BLOCK_DEV_IDESCSI=m in ATA/IDE section. I also have enabled scsi and all the drivers and boxes in SCSI SECTION is set to m.Also SCSI OLD DRIVERS is set to m. So I realy dont know what I have missed.
