I have a multiple processor Xenon box running RH 7.2 that has several HP LaserJet printers with JetDirect network interfaces. When several print jobs are sent in rapid succession the last page or two of the jobs are intermittently lost. It appears that the printer reset command embedded in the print job is being executed before the previous job has completed printing.
The printers are configured to use a raw print queue and the script.cfg file contains only the IP address and port number. Adding a sleep 15 to the end of the "/usr/share/printconf/util/jetdirectprint" script seems to have helped but has not eliminated the problem. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
